What does NFC tag detected on cash APP mean?

Disabling NFC
Here's how to do it: Open Settings > Connected devices. Some Android phones have the NFC option in the system tray menu at the top of the screen. Turn off the NFC toggle switch.

Essentially, when there's an NFC tag encoded with a URL or message, the iPhone can detect it and push a notification with the option to open said address or message. Some NFC tags can also open third-party apps if tapped on.
If you rarely use NFC, then it's a good idea to turn it OFF. Since NFC is very short range technology and if you don't lose your phone, then there are not much security concerns left with it. But NFC has a real effect on battery life. You will need to test out how much battery life you gain by turning it OFF.
NFC is a slick technology for mobile payments, but too often carriers block access. QR code payment systems are easier to use on a number of mobile platforms today.
There is no way to disable the NFC chip or Apple Pay (other than to disable all the cards).
Where is NFC located on Android?
You can check for NFC settings on your Samsung Android device by looking in the settings app > connections > tap NFC and contactless payments. If you see an option for NFC there, your device is enabled to make NFC payments.

To add your Cash Card to Google Pay from the Cash App:
Tap the Cash Card tab on your Cash App home screen. Tap the image of your Cash Card. Select Add to Google Pay. Follow the steps.
